Rutherford Construction is a general contracting company specializing in residential and light commercial construction. We focus on new residential construction, as well as remodeling and renovating residential and commercial spaces. No matter how large or small the project, quality is a must and a standard for Rutherford Construction.
Owner Todd was born and raised in Boise, Idaho, graduating from Capital High School and The University of Idaho. Todd received his B.S. in Business Marketing from the College of Business and Economics at the University of Idaho. Todd merged skills acquired throughout the years he spent learning trades with the tools he gained while studying at U of I, to start Rutherford Construction. Todd was encouraged by his Entrepreneurship Professor at U of I to pursue company ownership, telling him he had all the skills and attributes required to be an Entrepreneur. It was always his dream to start, own, and operate a company of his own and that affirmation reassured his decision to start Rutherford Construction upon graduating.
Last year was a big one for Todd and the growing Rutherford family. Todd and Laura got married in July after a yearlong engagement, and are expecting a baby boy in April of 2013.
